From Timespinner Wiki. Jump to: navigation, search. The game map fills in as the player moves into new areas. Red areas indicate save shrines and blue (or purple in the past) show teleportation gateways. The map is shown as a mini map in the game window, showing the area around the player, and a larger map which can be viewed inside the game. Look at the achievement icon for a clue. I have heard that you need to stop time so that the ring is not in front of the orb, then you walk into the orb. EDIT: It's just 'walk into'. The Iron Orb is the easiest first one you can try to do this on for a first playthrough because of the lights in the rooms before and after to recharge your sand.
Haristel will ask you to cull Plantbats (left) which lurk in caves around the Viletian camp (right).
Operation Orange
You can talk to Haristel to start this quest any time after you rescue Rameda from the Caves of Banishment. Given the state of the Viletian troops, Haristel needs you to cull the local wildlife so they can recover. Namely, she wants you to kill fifteen Plantbats. Plantbats are found in caves throughout Lachiem, including in both the eastern and western parts of the Greenwood Forest, Lake Serene and in and around the Caves of Banishment. Simply travelling to the Caves of Banishment gate and heading right should be sufficient to find you the Plantbats you need, after which it's merely a matter of farming. When you've got the kills you need, return to Haristel and she'll give you a meager reward of 250 Entropy.
Haristel's second quest charges you with reducing the threat posted by Sirens (left). Seek out the aquatic seducers in the Caves of Banishment (middle) then return to Haristel (right).
Siren Sortie
Complete 'Operation Orange', then talk to Haristel again and she'll charge you with exterminating ten Sirens as part of her next quest, Siren Sortie. You can find Sirens in the Caves of Banishment - 38 AE area, in the large, watery chamber along the western end of this dungeon near where you found Eschem earlier. Three passes through and one more Siren for good luck should satisfy Haristel. You'll gain 500 Entropy' as a bounty.
Haristel's not yet willing to end the war, insisting you kill aggressive Lachiemi knights and archers (left). Make your way to the Castle Ramparts and eradicate the target enemies on the battlements (right)
Army Assault
Return to Haristel after you defeat Aelana and she'll give you another murder mission. While Aelana may have been humbled, her troops are still rampaging, and their numbers need to be culled. To satisfy Haristel you'll need to smite twenty Lachiem Knights and twenty Lachiem Archers.
The best place to find these enemies of course is the Castle Ramparts area, specifically the battlements above the Castle Ramparts checkpoint. In this area you'll find three knights and two archers, so only a few passes through will be required. Your Blood Orb will make this far, far quicker, as archers and knights are both weak to it.
Once you have thinned their numbers, return to Haristel and she will reward you with 750 Entropy.
Talk to Haristel after completing Army Assault and she'll charge you with killing some Royal Guards (left) which can be culled in the Royal Towers (right).
Mage Mission
After completing the previous quest, Haristel should have this one ready for you. Talk to her once again and she'll request that you kill eight Royal Guard enemies. These enemies are in the Royal Tower area of course, but where to go for fast farming? Head to the Royal Tower Warp Point and head left, all the way to the checkpoint. From there you want to head up (use time stop on the Demon to ascend) and right (left, as you remember, leads to the Crow Merchant). Pass right through an empty room, and in the tower beyond double jump onto a ledge, then leap onto another ledge to the left. In the room beyond you'll find a lone Royal Guard, who you can easily slay, leave, return and repeat.
Kill these eight of these things, using your Fire Orbs to take them out more quickly if you wish. Once you've sated Haristel's bloodlust, return to tell her the good news to gain the reward of 1,000 Entropy.
Talk to Haristel and she'll tell you to kill her rebellious comrade Cantoran (left). Find the mutinous miscreant in the Lake Serene area and defeat him in combat (right).
Defector Duty
You can start this quest after completing Rameda's quest 'Wartime Detective' which requires you to make significant progress through the Amadeus' Laborator - 1062 AE area. Once done, talk to Haristel and she'll tell you about one last bit of bloody business that must be concluded before she's fully ready to move on - a defector named Cantoran is still in league with Lachiem and needs to be dealt with.
Leave the Viletian army camp and enter the Greenwood Forest, then travel to the left, eradicated Cheveurs as you go. Cross the broken bridge (a trivial feat for you by now) and pass through the caves to reach the eastern Lake Serene - 38 AE gate. Continue left through the first lake area to find a boss door where there previously was none before. It appears where you once found Seykis you're now destined to face Cantoran.
Defeat Cantoran and return to Haristel to gain a reward of 2,000 Entropy.
Talk to Rameda in the Viletian camp to start a quest (middle) which requires you to gather Herbs from Harvest Rats (right).
Of Mice and Medicine
To find Rameda, explore to the far western ends of the Caves of Banishment. Afterwards you'll be back and the Viletian camp and Rameda will be more than ready to start offering quests.
First off he'll ask you to find him four Herbs. Herbs are dropped by Harvest Rats, which can be found in caves throughout the Greenwood Forest and Lake Serene areas, particularly right outside (to the east of) the Caves of Banishment area. Bring back four Herbs and he'll reward you with an Antidote, which will now be stocked by Seykis.
Rameda's second quest tasks you with recovering Mushrooms (left) which can be obtained from Mushroom Towers (middle). Harvest what Rameda needs, then return to him to complete the quest (right).
Medical Mushrooms
After completing Rameda's first quest, talk to him again (perhaps after leaving the screen and coming back) to start another. This time Rameda needs Mushrooms, which can be harvested from Mushroom Towers in the Caves of Banishment. Bring back two Mushrooms and he'll give you a Potion. Weak.
Find a Plasma Crystal in the chamber just before The Maw (left) and give it to Rameda (right).
Plasma Panic
You can start Rameda's next quest, 'Plasma Panic' can be started immediately after completing 'Medical Mushrooms', but to complete it you'll need to acquire the Water Mask from the Sealed Caves - 1062 AE area, which in turn requires that you defeat the Golden Idol boss and claim the Succubus Hairpin, with which you can claim the Security Keycard B Relic. Oof, that's a bit of work, eh? Once you have all this you'll need to enter the western Caves of Banishment - 38 AE area and proceed to near the end of the dungeon, where you'll find some crystals on the ground in the vertical chamber between a checkpoint and where The Maw is fought. Smash them to acquire a Plasma Crystal, then return to Rameda to finis this quest.
Intravenous Solutions
After you defeat The Maw, talk to Rameda to start this quest. Seems he needs some future tech to help Eschem. Just travel to the Military Hangar - 1062 AE area (you must defeat the Golden Idol, Aelana and The Maw to access this area) and head through the Military Hangar until you reach a large chamber with a spike pit. Take the lower left exit to find a Plasma IV Bag, which will satisfy Rameda.
Wartime Detective
Start this quest after completing 'Intravenous Solutions', but it'll be a bit before you can complete it. Rameda wants you to find some documents proving the guilt of Vilete, and to do this you'll need to explore the Amadeus' Laboratory - 1062 AE area. You'll find it in a filing cabinet somewhat near where you fight Genza, but Lunais will only pick it up if you have started this quest. Once you have them, give them to Rameda to finish his questline.
